I have been getting a lot of emails from different agents in the last few months and found that some look very nice and professional and quite different from the regular email with a signature line. Some have a kind of a business card as a signature that has options to text or see the website. Others look like a newsletter. I did some research and there are many options on the net. Most are a monthly or a yearly fee. Some free downloads are not professional. I saw one website that would create a stationary for $200.00. I think that its a nice branding idea and can look very professional. Anyone uses it on Real Talk and what do you think of it? I would prefer a one time charge. Also, how does it work. I would like for it to automatically work on sending out emails. How do I bring a template into outlook express (since that is the email program I use). When I have a word document my letterhead is stored as a graphic and people either don't see it at all or have to click on it to see it, but it does not come out right from Word. Any thoughts?

I don't know about software, but have you tried Constant Contact? Its web based email marketing that starts at $15 a month for up to 500 email adresses.  They have somehting like 200 or 300 templates that you can use, and you can send out as many emails as you want per month.

Jane, I have used them in the past and found that they are nice, however
for someone on dial up they create a problem. I stopped, because I was
paying a one time fee, the company was sold and they started a yearly fee
that I thought was to high. In this market we all need to spend our
marketing dollars wisely. Think how many people who do not know that you
sell real estate you will be sending to. Just a thought.

Hello,

I have never replied before  I usually just read. My name is Shawn and I use MLXJet.com and the email is very professional. The cost is 200.00 if you use this code it will give you a discount and you will pay 99.00 The code is LS1891. It also provides live links to contact you or to go to your website. You can use it with any system, you can type mlxjet.com behind every email address and it automatically brands everything you send  and it also tracks it and lets you know when someone opens your email. There are many templates to choose from for individuals or teams. You can customize it if you want I can send you a copy if you would like to see how it works first. I have mlxjet.com on every email address in my phone book and that way I don't have to type it every time it's automatic.

HI, The best e-card ideas I have seen come from emailideas.com - to say the least they are very unique and offer a lot of customization.  Ask for John Cannon, the owner

Jane,

You should also evaluate the offering from Down to Earth Software.  See:
http://www.emailstationery.biz/

They do lovely work, the cost is very reasonable, and they'll help you incorporate the stationery into your Outlook.

They also make a great promotional tool - an online calendar/planner.  See:
http://www.dtesusa.com/RealEstate/

You can put it on your website or give it to clients on a disc.  It's the most cost effective promotional tool I've seen - one price and you have a promotional item forever.  And, what's better than having a bunch of links to your website on your clients' home computer?

If you want to try before you buy, you can download a sample from our website.

I've just signed up there too, and I love it so far.

-------

Mike, I used their predecessor for a few years but didn't switch to MLXJet when it was offered to me because of an email problem. Because the agent photo is embedded in the email, I found too many customers said my emails were going into their Junk / Spam folders. Each month I email a Newsletter we author to nearly 1,000 people. We used to have our photo on that email too and now that I've dropped the photo, more emails are getting through.

We would love to have an agent photo in our Stationary, but until someone can tell me how to do so without so many corporate systems rejecting our emails, we've decided to minimize any graphics in our emails.

MLXjet is fabulous! I use it judiciously, however; if every email/reply/response sequence has it, you run the risk of offending clients by filling their inbox with your face. I do love the transparent read message, and clients are complimentary about the format.
