Hi, first time using this forum, so I hope I don't break any etiquette rules here.

Anybody out there know where I can get  a stand-alone client log-in site or something like that? Advanced Access used to have it with their 3.0 version, but I could not  take one more day with that company and now have a Z57 site.  I believe RealPro has a log-in attached to their web site.  Top Producer has a semi-version of what I want, but it's not as nice or easy to use as what I'd like.

Basically it's a separate page/site that your seller (or  whomever) has their own log-in and password to.  You can go into the page from the back-end and basically keep a running diary of everything that's happened on their account.  They can log in anytime and see what you've done.  It's a great selling feature to the concern sellers have about agents that don't stay in touch.

I learned of it through one of Allan Hainge's Cyberstars, but, once again, it was done privately through a webmaster associated with her site.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Real Pro Systems @ realprosystems.com . They have what you are talking about. Look into the Gold package. When you call you get more than just what's on the site.

I have two sites, one Advanced Access (no complaints here) and the other is idxdirect.com with both bringing me endless leads. Email Eric at
support@idxnetwork.com. A prospect can register their criteria and will receive all new listings according to the criteria. I've closed sales from the website and am currently working with several leads.

Marilyn

Then you will be "ahead of the game," and will have enjoyed luxurious living in the meantime.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but you may want to check out RELAY at https://relay.rebt.com/tms I have used this on my last four deals, and my clients (those that are computer savvy and inclined to do so) are set up with their own password protected access to all the transaction files, documents, notes, etc. online (with access from any computer anywhere with internet access). All signed documents are scanned and uploaded.

There is also a custom designed activity checklist (you designed yourself) and daily automated notification of activities due. When the transaction closes, you download all documents, email correspondence etc., of your choosing to a CD and hand it to them. They now have a copy of all signed documents, disclosures, and paperwork on a single CD, with your name and photo on the cover. You can also provide access to your office manager, escrow officer, broker, and the agent on the other side. It takes a fair amount of work to set up the transaction activity checklist, but once it is done and tweaked a few times, you are well set up to not miss any important documents or due dates.

"Anybody out there know where I can get a stand-alone client log-in site or something like that?"

There are many options for something like this, I know because I investigated them at one point for my own real estate clients.  I wanted a place for my clients to be able to log in and access any of their files, submit work to me, leave a message, access their contacts, etc.  After evaluating several options I started using Microsoft Office Live Small Business, which is a simpler version of Share Point.  This is a free, online business management system that allows you to add about 20 business applications to it, it gives you a free website and domain name, and syncs with Outlook and the other MS Office products.  If you aren't familiar with Microsoft products than I wouldn't recommend it, but if you are, this is a system that you can make as simple or as robust as you would like to.  You could run your entire real estate business with this program and for free.

I have set it up to allow my real estate clients their own "workspace" where they log in and have access to everything that I'm working on for them and everything that has been completed.  If they are on the road and need to access their contacts they can just log in, access power point presentations for listings, etc.  You can also create email drip campaigns and PPC advertising.  No, I'm not an affiliate either, just found this to be exactly what I needed.

Another option might be Sure Close Personal Edition.  It's an online transaction management program for agents to manage their listings and transactions.  The same concept as Relay, which someone mentioned.  Sure Close is less expensive than Relay, $129 per year, but I'm sure it has less options.  If you were looking for the main functions of client log in, security and privacy, management of your listings and transactions, ability to create letter templates and merge contacts, this might be something to look into.

I'll mention one more, if you use First American as your title company they offer a free online transaction management program called Agent First.  I use this program and it's wonderful for managing your listings and transactions and allowing clients to access this information.  Same concept, they access only what you allow.

If you would like more information on any of the programs I mentioned or if you are still looking for additional choices you can email me and I would be happy to give you any information or help that I can.
