Message from John Reilly, e-PRO:
We are very excited that Gary David Hall has organized a new Group on RealTown that will focus on Contact Management issues and solutions. Gary has been a longtime contributor to RealTalk sharing his well-recognized expertise in the CRM arena.
Gary's stated purpose of the Group is: "At this time, there are 25 different Real Estate specific CRM solutions. I have compiled a comparison matrix for most of them to date. This is a place where you can learn more about them, or discuss your likes and dislikes about them."
While Gary will continue to post to RealTalk, the CRM Group is designed to facilitate more detailed discussion and responses to individual questions. With the Group structure, you can choose to receive delivery of discussions via e-mail (individual or Digest) and/or access on the web interface. You don't even have to login to RealTown.com to access the discussions (note: if you are logged in to your realtown account, simply go to your MyRealTown page and click My Groups for direct access to any of your subscribed Groups).
Let's see if we can reach 100 new members before the end of the month. Joining is simple. Go to http://RealTown.com and click the Groups tab. Or, go to http://www.realtown.com/GaryDavidHall/groups/crm
Let the fun begin!
John

CRM or PDA? Chicken or Egg?

I'm getting a 1st gen iPhone as a gift from my brother and am very excited to get going with it. Before I jump in I'm looking for suggestions, tips & ideas from the iPhone users out there:
1) What CRM solution are you using & how does it work with your iPhone?
This person may have no choice. She's getting the iPhone as a gift. What I've been running into a LOT lately, is people going out and getting an iPhone, and THEN asking me what CRM to get, that works with an iPhone. That's backwards. OK - I get it that the iPhone is the great new toy, but when it comes to which phone/PDA you should get, THAT choice SHOULD come AFTER you get your CRM solution. Your CRM solution is a far more important, complex, and long term choice than your PDA.
