Hi, is there any realtors out there who are using HTC PPC6800? How do you like it? Can anyone compare this with Treo 755p?
I've never used neither of them, but I use Outlook for contacts and calender, so window base might be good, but I hear that windows can slow down all the time, if it is running all the time.
The screen and typing area are bigger for HTC PPC6800, so it just looks like it is easier to use.
I appreciate anyone's input on this.

I just attended a technology class and according to Dick Betts a national speaker on phone systems the Treo 755p wins hands down for real estate use. Check out his website www.dickbetts.com , he is also a ePro trainer.

Although I am not familiar with that exact model, I believe it to be very similar to the AT&T/Cingular 8525. I have been using the 8525 for nearly a year now, and after the upgrade to Windows Mobil 6.0 ®, find it very effective.
The keyboard may not be quite as convenient as the Treo’s, but the screen is not only touch sensitive, but the included handwriting recognition works well. In fact, it can read my scribbles better than I can! And of course it syncs seamlessly with Outlook. I rarely use it for email; I find that texting while on the go is better and available to most nowadays.

Considering getting a device for email on the go. Favoring the Blackberry 8800 available thru at&t or 8830 available thru my current carrier Verizon. I favor these since they both have GPS which my '95 S320 does not have.
Was also given a recommendation for Palm Treo 650 but it apparently does not have GPS.
Thoughts, please..............

Just a word of caution. The Blackberry 8830 from Verizon DOES NOT HAVE GPS. They have disabled the feature. This is still a good a functional phone that can be enabled for operation in Europe, but if you need GPS get this phone from Sprint, their GPS in not disabled.Good Luck,

Dick,
That was a great link. His website looks like a wealth of wonderful information for me. I am in the process of completing my e-Pro course. I have not made a decision on a smart phone until now. Thank you for helping me make up my mind!

John e-PRO
[GRI is a very good designation to obtain early in one's career. These days I'd favor NAR's e-PRO - besides the useful information, the course can be completed online in a short period of time. -John]
While I agree with John's editorial note above, I would point out the original question was regarding the first "designation" not the first "certification". e-PRO is a great program but it is an NAR certification. I have several designations plus the e-PRO certification. I agree the e-PRO info is very useful and I completed mine in the minimum amount of time to earn it. However, there is nothing like the depth of knowledge that can be gained from designation courses in the GRI and CRS programs. So, get e-PRO certified and put the technology to work but get the GRI and become a more proficient and professional REALTOR.
Cheers,
Chris

Aaron says "After speaking with an attorney, and my Broker, I have determined that it makes the best sense for me to form an S-Corp. I know we're not tax advisors or attorneys here, but I would like some feedback from anyone who is formed as an S-Corporation, and what method you used (attorney, self-forming kit, accountant) and what the result was. I obviously want to make sure I'm protected..."
We are set up as an LLC, which is much less expensive to set up than an S corp.. Our accountant then requested the IRS treat us for tax purposes as an S corp. to save on taxes... works great for us. Check with your attorney if that makes sense for you... something to think about anyway.

Hi Tamara,
I've been using Z57 for about 5 years. I really like my customer service rep and he's helped me customize my site a bit - though I've really had to spend the time to do a lot on my own. I guess that's been the key. I didn't do much of anything with it for years - now I try to work on it a bit every week and update things each month. So, for a template site, I think it's pretty good. I get a lot of complements from other agents (maybe they're the only people going there!).
Best.

I really like my iphone, it has a great camera, takes notes, plays music, internet (if there is wireless) it has the stock market, weather international, works in Europe. With the drop in price last year they became very affordable. I love mine. It isnt compatible with the lock box key.

Smartphone Choices: I love my Treo! It has made my life easier. The compatibility with the supra was the first reason for getting it. Upon using the Treo , I found the other functions were even more useful. Ex. Messaging, photo, and internet capabilities to name a few!
