Hi everyone,
I have just created a website on Point2 NLS. I'm pretty excited about the features this website offers. Please visit my webpage:
http://sheilacohen.point2agent.com/. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve it, let me know.
Thanks, Sheila Cohen

Welcome to Point2, Sheila. I recommend that you get your own domain
name and have it directed to your POint2 site. It will never gain much
traction in the search engines until some time after it has its own
domain; currently the search engines simply see it as as subdomain of
Point2Agent.com.

Equally important, rewrite your home page and other content so that it
will present you as being somehow different from the other 50+ people
in your area with free Point2 sites. How does your site distinguish
you from these sites?:

Sheila,
I, too, have two Point2 websites:  www.BonnieErickson.com and .net.  Whereas I know the work involved in just getting the template filled out and the site functional, my first and only suggestion to you would be that you change all the template content to your own words.  Otherwise, your content is the same as everyone else's who has a Point2 site and that negatively impacts your search engine placement.  I even had the reports sent to myself and customized them for our market before putting them back on as options for visitors to order (i.e., we seldom do surveys in our area and seldom use attorneys for closing the deal but the Point2 template reports make suggestions about both) .  I also purchased the 450 Ways . . . e-book for the reports page and added a couple of reports I had authored for the reports page.

I totally agree with Suzanne, and all of that content will be passed over by the search engines as "copies" aka "spam".  And worse, it may come up in CopyScape as copied material.

I, too, have a Point2 site (http://www.suedahlgren.com/).  Since there seem to be a number of us that do, I'm wondering if anyone can help me.  I have deleted the on-line reports provided in the template for selling.  I would now like to add some of my own, but cannot figure out how to do it.  I have a free subscription.  Any experts out there?

Sue, with the free P2A sites you are only allowed a total of 15 pages. You are already using 12 pages now. Unless you were going to create links to .pdf files and upload/store those somewhere else, you only have 3 pages available to work with. The reports offered by P2 may be 'canned' but anyone filling out their information won't know that until they complete the form provided by P2. Another thing that you need to consider is that P2 does not offer the ability to create any custom fill-in forms so you may have a problem capturing their information before sending them any of your own reports. IMHO, I would email P2 and ask them to add the reports back to your website (unless you simply changed the setting to (hidden). As a free subscriber, you do not have access to phone support, only email support, however you can 'ask away' with any of your questions on their forum which gets plenty of activity. I have been with P2 since 2003 and feel that they have a great product.  ShowcaseYourHome.com

Log in to your website, choose edit from the drop down menu on the top, go to the page where you have the reports.  In the module with the reports click add/edit online reports.  The next screen has a list of the reports you have or don't have.  Under the list is a hot link labeled "add ....".  Click that and fill out the form that opens.  There is a box that allows you to browse your desktop (where you should already have the reports) by clicking on "browse" and then highlight and open the report that you have prepared.

I e-mailed the template reports to myself and reworked them to fit my market area, i.e. some areas use attorneys to close and we use closers from title companies, surveys are uncommon in our area, abstracts are updated after an accepted offer by the title company that closes the transaction.  I saved the revised report on my desktop.  I deleted the old report using the instructions above and added the revised one from my desktop.
