Gary makes a good recommendation overall. I would suggest buying a camera with the short focal length (the smaller number in the zoom range, e.g. 35-110mm) as short as 24mm; but 28mm is OK. As Gary pointed out, these numbers are the 35mm equivalent. The 28mm focal length allows you to capture more of the room in the picture. When you take multiple pix, panning around the room for your "input" pix to Visual Tour that will be stitched together, you will need fewer shots to capture the 360 view of the room.
