I'm looking for some examples of MLS Rules and Regulations regarding FSBOs. My agents, who are acting as buyers agents, want to make sure they get credit for a sale they are brokering. Does anyone have any rules addressing entering FSBO's into the MLS once the sale is complete?

Our MLS has a policy as written below. The input sheet for these listings asks for minimal information. It certainly has helped with comps!

I share the same MLS as Teresa who responded earlier. We definitely
encourage entering the data so that we have a firm STATEWIDE comp record.
Once you sit down to do the CMA's it makes it much more complete and
accurate. I have never heard that a broker feels they need to get "credit"
for the sale unless you have some state regulation requiring a certain
number of transaction to be licensed as a broker versus a sales agent, which
is what Vermont has and I am sure many states have similar requirements.
