Message from John Reilly, e-PRO:

Stefan Swanepoel addresses the importance of the green movement and  asks what you can do to help.

"Living "green" isn't an one-legislation-event or an all-or-nothing proposition. It is an evolution, a growth process, and a re-thinking of our existing patterns, habits and thoughts. Above it all we must recognize that we have a responsibility to our children to take care of the place we call earth and to preserve it for future generation.

What will you do to help?"

Thank you John, for a very well stated article on how people can go green. It's an idea who's time has come and I'm proud to be involved

Starting small, with easy, inexpensive tasks such as converting your light bulbs to the newer energy efficient models should only cost about $30 for the average home and make a big difference over time, not to mention the life span for the new bulbs is roughly 6 years. Home Depot was selling the 13 watt, (equal to 60 watt) bulbs for under $5 for 4 bulbs.

Recycling your aluminum cans, plastic bottles and newpapers is another small, inexpensive way to get started. Who knows, you may just start a new trend in your neighborhood.
