I'm writing to anyone who can lead me in the direction of the steps to start a blog. I understand that I have to begin with the blog from real town.  But my question is what kind of content will go in to a blog after you run through the easy stuff? After that were do I get content to keep customers and clients coming back to read the blog. We are not all english majors. "How does one keep it fresh?

Just think about all of the conversations you have in the course of a day ... financing, zoning, home inspection, staging, pricing ... ALL of this is good material that you can use to develop content.John Reilly is fond of saying, "Check your inbox!" If someone asks you a question, consider framing the answer in a blog post. Hi, Nicholas –

Great response, Frances – you can also have a ghostwriter or virtual assistant help you maintain your blog.  Frances is correct, you don’t have to be an English major.  A blog is like a journal – talk from the heart, what’s your passion?  Help people get to know you, and how you can help them – give them tips on staging their home for sale – landscaping, best investments in updating their property to get the biggest returns.

I even have one client who uses the articles in the monthly CRS newsletter (should you have that designation) to give me topic ideas.  Hope this helps! ;)

Cheers,

Absolutely!Real estate agents who want to take their careers to the next level should consider tasks that they can delegate to others. Dear Jennine:

Thank you for reply of my post regarding stating a blog. I will take your advise and run with it. The idea of asking people to help with information is a great idea.

Now for me to get off of die center and  start the blog.  I have to just start.

Thanks again
