Has anyone used a Black Berry Phone? How long ago?   What did you think of it?  Does it make a good organizer?
Thanks,

I love my blackberry phone! It’s been great for me in doing BPO work, and I love that I can sit at an open house and receive text messages from prospective clients looking for property. I’ve received sales this way!

I use Plaxo both at home and at the office (I’m also our office manager) and that keeps my outlook synced. Each night I sync my Blackberry at home, so all three have the same info. LOVE IT!

Hi Monique--

Yes, I have a Black Berry phone and I love it.  My phone and service is through Cingular.
I like the fact that I get my emails right away and I can reply to customers right away if I am away from my desk.
I have an ear piece (blue tooth) which I find very useful since the shape of the Black Berry tends to be a little larger and harder to hold.
So I would highly recommend an ear piece.
I wish you the best of luck with your phone investigating.

I do not know what I would do without the blackberry - I use it for making phone calls of course but primarily for receiving and sending emails. I have not explored all that it can do but I use the email and with unlimited emails which is what we need in this industry. Thanks Mary Lou

I also love my blackberry phone. The best part is getting my emails anytime anywhere.

I loved my Blackberry Pearl but not too fond of my new Blackberry Storm. It is the touch pad and it is very difficult to get used to and very hard to text from.

We have seen an increase of agents going to BlackBerry now since Supra has come out with a Fob that will work with BlackBerry to open lockboxes. This is a device that is proving so far to be a big hit. I have not had any complaints from the few folks who are now using this Supra Fob.

So for you agents who use Supra and are big fans of the BlackBerry you should log on to www.supraekey.com for more information.

I purchased a black berry about a year ago so I could take it on vacation with me rather than tote my lap top and it was great! Can stay in touch and e-mail where ever you are! Had appointments already set up when I got back in town.

It is especially nice if you not have cable and have to go through phone lines to get to the internet. Where I live we do not have cable.

Great investment and time saver.

I agree...great investment and time saver! You can check and reply to emails without having to logon to your pc or laptop...

can also use all instant messenger services at once...including BlackBerry Messenger which allows you to send Voice Notes...kind of like voicemail but it delivers it istantly and you don't have to call the other BlackBerry user to leave the message. Sometimes you just don't want to talk to someone live if you know what I mean...

Thanks,
Nam Do

My Blackberrry Curve is an integral part of my business. Sure it's a great phone, and a Bluetooth headset is a necessity, but it's also my calendar and address book. Email and text are routine. I also use mobile MLS, mortgage calculators (Chicago Agent) and Telenav (turn by turn GPS navigator, like having Garmin in my phone). Also a nice little camera and video camera when I don't have my larger digital camera with me. I was an early Palm Pilot adopter in the mid- to late-1990s, and I loved that PDA platform, but the Blackberry system is great. This is my second Blackberry over the past few years and it has become essential.
