I signed up for Jott today. When I received a confirmation e-mail it ask for my phone #. But it doesnt let me know if there is a fee of any kind that will be charged to my phone co. I am very causious about giving out my phone number I know that they need it for the service.What I was wondering is has any one been charged or a some sort of charge show on their phone bill.

Yes, Jott is free. I played with it for awhile and its great for leaving
myself reminders, but almost everyone I jotted to hated it. Most did not
know that you could read the message. To see the message you have to scroll
down the page a good bit. So I'd advise jotting to a friend and see how it
looks and ease of access before you go jotting to everyone.

They cannot attach charges to your phone bill. The phone company will not allow outside charge to your bill. Only phone calls can be added. I worked for Paciific Bell for 28 years and I know what I am talking about.

Jott:

I use Jott now, but the email copy is often illegible. I have to listen to the recording to see what it says quite often.

Does anyone else have this problem? I am thinking it is because when I record a msg. I am in my car, so there are noises being recorded also.
