The Year of the Rat

In Chinese astrology 2008 is the year of the Rat.  Hard working and the first sign of the Chinese zodiac.  China Tpwn plaza on Spring Mountain Road is planning a day long celebration on Feb. 7th.  James Chen the executive director of the Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce is expecting more than 5,000 visitors at this their biggest celebration.  The day will include, a traditional lion dance, Japanese drummers, a Chinese folk dance, Chinese martial arts, acrobatics and a dragon dance. The celebration will cost $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children
