Many Glacier Area is a trailhead for several hikes.   Grinnell Glacier hike has awesome views and hiking in high mountain meadows.   This is a 11 mile around trip hike from the Many Glacier Lodge.   A moderate fitness level is desirable and remember to pack a lunch and plenty of water.  Also, there are several shorter options around the lake too.  Many Glacier area is noted as the most scenic locations in the Park.   Stop by the Park Café in St. Mary’s for a piece of homemade pie on your way too or from Many Glacier area.
