It is best to be fit for the hike is over 10 miles and an elevation gain of 6500 ft. Your destination is Cobalt Lake and you will not be disappointed. If your timing is good the huckleberries on the trail will be ready for harvesting for a quick snack. Remember to take plenty of water or a water purifier.
