Gallery Inspired Living in the Heart of Denver

Jul. 25, 2008

One of the world's best architects has designed a luxury condominium development in the heart of Denver that not only succeeds as a functional and stylish living space, but he has also managed to create an architectural work of art that is equal to any of the pieces one might find at the nearby Denver Museum of Art.

Daniel Libeskind has been designing cutting edge buildings around the globe for many years, and he recently completed work on an innovative new wing at the Denver Museum of Art. He used that project as inspiration for his work on the Museum Residences, which not only includes upscale condos, but also features an entire floor dedicated to retail space.

The building of the Museum Residences was part of a joint venture between Corporex and Mile High Development, and was completed in 2007. At the time of the building's opening, over 85% of the available units had been sold. There are 56 condos on-site, and includes charming studios and 5000-square foot penthouse suites. Prices start in the mid-$300s and go as high as $1.2 million.

Residents here enjoy 9 1/2 foot ceilings, spacious bathtubs, polished chrome fixtures, and dynamic interior architecture. There are floor-to-ceiling windows and metallic panels that add to the modern and spacious feel of the place. Hardwood floors, walk-in closets, and beautiful Italian-crafted cabinetry also add to the building's luxurious atmosphere.

These condos are perfect for buyers who prefer clean lines and sophisticated features. The architecture acts as a beautiful canvass for art pieces and family heirlooms, while still providing an inviting living space. As an added benefit, this new development is right across from the Denver Art Museum and close to downtown.

There are plans to expand the Museum Residences to include a hotel and at least 30 more condominiums. At the time of writing, there are seven units available for sale. This would be a great opportunity for a buyer who is looking for a home that is unique and features the most modern design elements. With its excellent location near downtown, the Museum Residences should be checked out by anyone looking to buy an upscale property in Denver.
