I found a site with a little bit of cute Office trivia, like....
Martin Short, Hank Azaria and Bob Odenkirk were interested in playing Michael Scott before the role eventually went to Steve Carell.

How could anyone choose any of them over the guy who played the 40-year-old virgin?? They made a really good choice with Steve Carell -- but then I wouldn't be opposed to Michael Scott being played by Arnold Schwarzenegger! I'd like to see him pull off the terrible Chris Rock impression!
