The original "The Office" star and creator Ricky Gervais will not be guest starring in the U.S. version of the comedy mockumentary, contrary to reports...

by original you mean the English version? I saw one episode and it was entertaining but not nearly as good as the American show.

Yeah I've seen the whole UK version... the first season was EXACTLY the same, pretty much word for word in the US. It was good, to me, not as funny, but I always thought that had to do with my ignorance and inability to understand accents without thinking too much ;) gringo!
