Obama signs bill extending first time homebuyer tax credit through April 30, 2010. It also extends a credit of up to $6500 to repeat buyers who sign by April 30 and close by June 30, 2010. There are both income limits and home price limit of $800,000.

Today the Senate & House of Representatives extended the Homebuyer Tax Credit that was to expire on Nov. 30th.

Senators agreed Wednesday to extend a populartax credit for first-time homebuyers and to offer a reduced credit to some repeat buyers.
The tax credit provides 10%, or up to $8,000 to first-time homebuyers but is set to expire November 30th, 2009.
