Help From Fannie and Freddie for Foreclosed Homes

Freddie And Fannie are beginning to offer financing incentives on foreclosed homes. These incentives are, so far, only being offer on foreclosed homes selling for $417,000 or less.

The Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC)

FannieMae and FreddieMac adopted the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) in 2008 in order to reinforce, protect, and enhance the overall integrity of an appraiser’s valuation process. This code of conduct became effective on May 1, 2009.
