Prudential Feeds Property Listings to Propsmart.Com, Zillow.Com
Irvine, CA --(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., a Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU - News) company, today announced its feed of more than 140,000 for-sale property listings to popular Internet search sites Propsmart.comTM and Zillow.com®. The agreements will place Prudential Real Estate affiliates' listings in front of the millions of consumers who visit these sites looking for real estate and related services and information.
“Consumers love to shop for real estate using real estate media web sites such as PropsmartTM and Zillow® simply because they get great results,” said Laurie Keenan, president of Prudential Real Estate. “The sites are easy to use, they offer great information and they save consumers time. Most important, the sites offer consumers a rich search experience and, now, our listings will be a part of that experience.”
Prudential Real Estate listings include property descriptions and photos, plus listing-agent and affiliate-contact information.
Prudential Real Estate’s listings feeds come on the heels of similar marketing and advertising agreements announced recently with real estate media sites Trulia.com and FrontDoor.com.
“It’s common knowledge that the majority of real estate consumers begin their searches on the Internet,” Keenan explained. “Our objective is to have our affiliates’ listings front and center of all those searches, and at the same time offer consumers information and resources that will enhance their real estate search experience.”
Said Bruce Pedersen, president of Propsmart, “We are proud to announce a direct feed from Prudential Real Estate affiliates. Propsmart, with alliances such as Prudential Real Estate, continues to create and innovate new tools to optimize the consumer experience and the profitability of progressive agents.”
Added Jorrit Van der Meulen, Zillow’s vice president of partner relations, “With more than 5 million visitors coming to our site each month, our goal is to build the most robust online real estate experience possible. The addition of Prudential Real Estate’s listings to our site is a huge step toward that goal. Not only does it bring even more choices to consumers shopping for homes, but it brings with it a brand they know and trust.”
Propsmart.com is a next-generation real estate search engine, aggregating more than a million property listings from hundreds of online sources and private sellers.
