Army Corps to Dredge St. Augustine Inlet and Intracoastal

Nov. 3, 2009

I just received word about the Army Corps' plans to dredge the Intracoastal in 2010 to renourish St. Augustine Beach. I knew about the plans to dredge the St. Augustine Inlet, but did not know about the Intracoastal. I have more details here. Below is a map showing where they plan to dredge. It does not show up well, so let me know if you'd like me to e-mail you a copy. Basically it is up and down the Intracoastal by the St. Augustine Inlet. There will be a public meeting at 3 p.m. on Nov. 17th at St. Augustine Beach City Hall.
