When I moved to West Bend in 1991, it was a move made in a hurry and without time to research my new home. Boy did I luck out and with each passing year, I appreciate more and more my wonderful community!
West Bend was named because of its location on a western bend in the Milwaukee river and was established in 1845. It is about 30 miles North of Milwaukee and midway between there and Fond du Lac.
This September, the Ziegler Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival will be celebrating its 10th year! It is a 3-day event and you can view this year’s line-up at www.kmjazz.com.
Also coming this Fall is the opening of the West Bend Company/Regal Ware Historic Museum. If you’ve ever had a cup of coffee or eaten a Sunday pot roast, you’ve probably used a kitchen appliance made in West Bend. For information on the museum, visit http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=766486.
If it sounds like a great place to live, it is! And I’m the person who can provide you information on the West Bend housing market. Please visit our website at www.go2integrity.com
