NAR President Offers 10 Tips to Boost Your Business
Dick Gaylord Pulls Out All the Stops to Deliver Multi-Media Message to Masses
National Assn. of REALTORS President Dick Gaylord offers an impressive video podcast: "10 Tips to Boost Your Business."
Tip 1: Become an Expert
Tip 2: Prospecting is Gold
Tip 3: Price to Sell
Tip 4: Play Psychologist
Tip 5: Push Buyers' Hot Buttons
Tip 6: Upgrade Your Technology
Tip 7: Expand Your Horizons
Tip 8: Get More Involved
Tip 9: Stay Positive
Tip 10: Find and Be a Mentor
The podcast offers important information about ways to achieve real estate success that will appeal to both real estate agent newbies and veterans.
Equally as important as Gaylord's success tips are the tips we can take on successful delivery of a message. Here are some tips about online communication and delivering a message to a niche market:
Tip 1: Execute an e-mail blast for opt-in newsletter subscribers. Gaylord sent a well-designed HTML e-mail blast to NAR newsletter subscribers.
Tip 2: Produce a video to display on your web site or blog. Study Gaylord's video. It is almost 12 minutes long and it is bookmarked in segments. Each tip he offers is bookmarked on the video. This is ingenious. Viewing "Find and Be A Mentor" takes less than a minute.
Tip 3: Include an audio only podcast to satisfy a listening preference.
Tip 4: Publish a blog and post regularly.
Tip 5: Offer a written transcript of the podcast.
Tip 6: Offer a written summary of your message. In this case, the NAR President offers "Dick's Top Ten Tipsheet."

We all have the power, homes are still selling in our community of just under 10,000 Units. Last year at this time the availability was 433, today 326. Even when the market is performing poorly, does not mean that we need to perform poorly. Build Your Business. Things always change so will our market.
Thanks for the Boost
