Do you remember the stage play (and movie) “The Music Man?” If you do, you were probably amazed at the method used to teach the kids how to play band instruments. They learned by “The Think System.” No instruction, just think how the music should sound and that’s what you’ll get. Amazingly, that’s just what happened. It wasn’t a great sound, but it was recognizable. The end result did not seem as important as the excitement created by getting there.

 

It seems much the same way with my business. I can sit around and mope, complaining that I have nothing much to do, or I can think about how it should be and by getting excited about that, produce a pretty good result. By nature I’m a positive person. My nickname is Pollyanna. I realize that always looking for the good in situations is somewhat naïve, but thinking positively is not. We have heard more and more about getting what we expect, getting in return what we pitch out there to the cosmos, believing that the positive thoughts we have will bring us positive results. It’s true! We should all remember that The Think System can put us on track to reap the rewards of expecting business to be great. If we plan for success, we get it. Ever heard “success breeds success?” I’m going for it and I already see great results.
