Hello again,

There has been a pretty big change since my last communication to you.  My company has just severed ties with the Re/Max System, to form their own, independent company, Altera Real Estate.

For the most part this change was brought about because of what we perceived as a deterioration of services that were being provided by Re/Max, in conjunction with an increase in the fees necessary to maintain the relationship.

After looking into a number of alternatives and options available, the ownership of my company made two decisions: First to become an independent company, and second, to affiliate with a referral network larger than Re/Max's - actually larger than any real estate franchise.

That referral network is called "Leading Real Estate Companies of the World", LeadingRE, a 45 year old network - 60% larger than Re/Max.

Personally, I am very excited about this change - I had personally noticed a decline in services from the Re/Max network, as it filtered down to me.  Next month marks my 32nd anniversary of serving clients in South Orange County, and while - at my age - I'm not crazy about making changes, this one was a "no brainer".

Our company remains pretty much the same group of highly experienced agents, remaining to be the second largest real estate firm in Orange County, with 8 locations - and growing - and I am proud to be a member of the new Altera Real Estate Team.
