The Great Seal
By Yuli Lyman | Posted at 6:00 AM, Nov. 1, 2006 | SF Bay Area Real Estate BlogRecently with help from my client and a dear friend Liz Bowling, a highly accomplished cross stitch artist, I finally finished The Great Seal. It was a gift intended, years ago, for my husband's law office, but now it is housed in a more suitable place, in his judicial chambers in San Jose.
I started this project along with many others about 20 years ago. At that time, my children were real young. I was a stay-home Mom for a little while. Cross-stitching provided me calm in the midst of raising my children and a sense of measurable accomplishment – stitching one square at a time. Then, we moved across the country to California , I worked outside of home, and The Great Seal project was buried in a storage box. Recently I discovered Liz’s beautiful cross stitch artwork. She rekindled my passion in doing cross stitching again.
I love doing cross stitch not only because it provides me a sense of measurable accomplishment and predictable outcome, but also because I value my time spent and as a way to create a labor of love and possible heirloom for my children.
Now, I am busy in my spare time with a few more projects again. My work in progress are: Bliss Fairy, Pharoh’s Pet, Pompeji Garden, and Egyptian Sampler.

In my real estate work, like my cross stitch work, I help my clients solidify their real estate dreams and goals and create a plan of action to accomplish it. I also have a business system to handle the transaction to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience in the home buying and selling process. For each of my client, I take care of them one step at a time and each step leads them closer to the desired outcome as planned.
