Road widening

Cost of Land, Labor and Materials to slow down some road widening projects

Over the next five years there are a couple of road projects that will impact the area favorably although during the process expect traffic nightmares. Two important improvements will be the widening of SR-54 between Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Curley Road and the widening of I-75 between SR-56 and CR-54 also now known as Wesley Chapel Boulevard.

Delayed will be the widening of SR-54 between Curley Road and Morris Bridge Road. This project was scheduled for 2011 but is being moved back to 2012.

Thankfully paving has just started in front of Westbrook Estates and hopefully the work will progress quickly.

maybe they should stop approving al the new communities being built until the roads and the service structure can suport it. We are building to fast! SR54 is a parking lot and its not going to get better
