Screaming Deal on Bank Owned Home in White Mountain Lake

Jul. 26, 2008

Attention Bargain Shoppers!

If you were thinking of buying a second home and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money...then have I got a deal for you!

I just went and previewed this site built home that was built in 1974. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home and it is 972 sq ft. It has a stove for heat in the living room. There is a dining room off the kitchen. There is a kind of Arizona Room off the back of the home. It could make a great reading room or studio.

The back yard is nicely fenced so you can bring Fido with you. It has a one car metal storage shed in the back that you can park your boat in. You can enjoy the shade under the back deck. The trees in the back also help to cool things off.

The home does need to TLC. It would require some new paint and carpet. The laminate flooring in the dining room and kitchen appear to be fairly new. The kitchen could use some updating. This would make a great second home or seasonal rental property.

The home is located in White Mountain Lake (just 15 minutes North of Show Low). Owning this property would give you access to Arizona's largest privately owned lake. This is the only lake in the area where you can water ski and jet ski at. This area is growing in popularity and there are several new home developments in the works.

If you like to golf there is Silver Creek Golf Course just a couple of miles down the road. The golf course has a wonderful restaurant with great specials.

Here’s a link to my video open house    http://youtube.com/watch?v=KSnfe5M9KUY

It is priced at $69,900!   So what do you think?  Please give me any questions or thoughts you might have on this property.

Thanks for visiting!
Yvonne

Escape to the Cool White Mountains

Jul. 9, 2008

Hello to all of you out there suffering in the heat of the summer!

Just over 4 years ago I left Tucson to move to an area that I always dreamed of retiring to. Although I am years away from enjoying my golden years (I'm barely over 40 and I will stay that way!) the opportunity presented itself and I made the quick decision to leave Tucson and move to Lakeside, AZ. For those of you not familiar with Lakeside, it is in an area called the White Mountains which sits in Northeastern Arizona.

Yes, we do have mountains here. We have four seasons. We even get snow in the winter. No, I don't live in Flagstaff but it's only 2 hours North of here. I used to go visit the White Mountains when I had a second home up here. I used to hate leaving to go back home. Now I live here. The pace of life is slow. (Some people think it's too slow, but they can go back to where they came from!). We are on "Mountain" time so when someone says that they'll be over on Monday to fix something you need to clarify which Monday they are talking about. It's the kind of area that when you are driving on the road and someone honks at you it's because they know you and are waving their whole hand at you.

I am a realtor in the area and love what I do and where I live. If you or someone you know is thinking of buying or selling in the White Mountain area, I would love to help. Right now Arizona is experiencing quite a few home that are in foreclosure. We are not quite in that position up here, but we are starting to see our fair share of bank owned homes and short sales. This is an excellent opportunity to buy a second home or an investment property. I have several of our bank owned homes that are currently on the market listed on my website at http://www.WhiteMountainForeclosedProperties.com.

I would be happy to talk to you about these types of homes, questions on the area, or even what there is to do up here. For those of you in the "hotter" areas, I would be happy to let you know what are temperatures are like….We rarely hit 100 in the hottest of summer!

Thank you for stopping by and be sure to drop me a line.
