It was 5 years ago this weekend we had a lot less rain and some beautiful weather.  I can remember September 10, 2001 I was fishing with my Uncle George and Uncle Eugene on the Raritan Bay.  We were catching fluke and in the backdrop were the two twin towers .

It was before Bruce Springsteen wrote "Empty Sky" and Toby Keith had a song about America being sucker punched. 

Who knew beside those rat bastard terrorists that it would be the last weekend over 3,000 people would spend with their families and friends?

Please never forget the people that lost loved ones in those barbaric attacks and never forget the innocent victims that lost their lives.  And let us never forget the heroes that went in to save people and never came out.

Look to the future and always be present and enjoy this holiday weekend but never lose your vigialance and resolve and make sure these fine people did not die in vain.  GOD BLESS AMERICA.
