You might take a look at the Toshiba Tecra M7. It has a large screen and a large keyboard. They call it a convertable because it is just like a rather large laptop but the screen rotates and flips over so you can write on it. Has an availible CD/DVD burner and will hold plenty of memory. It can be Bluetooth enabled and is WI-FI capable. My understanding is it is 'Vista Capable'.
