The Changing Face of Real Estate Franchise Brands

So very glad to see the research from Swanepoel. I suggest we keep an eye on Exit and Assist-2-Sell--I expect both to continue to gain market share. From what I know or have been told, both companies have excellent management and neither will sell a franchise to just anyone.
How would you rate the chances of EXIT as in comparison to the KW and the Avalar models?
Stefan
Thanks Donna, I am watching both for sure. What about KW and Avalar - they too have similar type models?

From a new market prospective, I would want the completely independent person who was the most high-tech, had the least overhead, was not biased leaning in any brands' direction, and had a track record for getting the job done in higher percentages with minimal overhead.

I worked and managed a new Exit office in Corona, CA and loved it. The concept is easy to see and unlike some other concepts you are paid from the National corporation profit not the local office. If the local office closes you are still paid your commission if your recruits work for another Exit office. This payment continues even if you retire.
Very interesting discussion. My name is Ernesto Rijavec and I am new to Realtown, but I do understand a thing or two about the trends we are discussing here. In 2006 I helped create a new real estate concept called Sandals Realty (www.sandalsrealty.com). It addresses the concerns mentioned here including those "empty desks" and "unfavorable agent commission splits".
We have introduced a system by which agents choose their own commission plan based on their unique experience and production. We call it AgentChoice.
We combined AgentChoice with a highly efficient office setup, similar to a Starbucks, and ended up with a winner. We now have over 160 agents working out of our original Fort Myers office and three newly sold franchises in Florida. We are hoping to continue to build momentum and become one of the premier choices for agents in the coming years, while offering franchises throughout the U.S.
A model for the future? We'll see.
I love being a real estate broker now licensed for 21 years and a Certified Real Estate Instructor with the Department of State. Real estate education and training has been my passion for so many years. I've recently been introduced to a concept that enables me to capture monthly recurring residual income on every closing. For more information, watch this 8 minute video:
