Syncing Data

Hello all,

I am new to this group and fairly new to the BB world. I have a Curve 8330. I have been using the BB Desktop Manager to sync my calendar, address book, tasks. etc. It wants to delete old calendar events that I don't want it to delete. I can't find how to tell it not to. Do you use this method to sync or is there a way to do it through Outlook or another add-on that is more controllable?
