The 50th Anniversary Maple Sugar Festival
Saturday, April 14, 2007, 11am - 3pm at the Adirondack History Center Museum

11:00am Pancake Breakfast $6 Adults, $5 seniors and 6-12, $1 under 6
12:00pm Pancake Eating Contest
12:30pm Melba Wrisley reading from Growing Up Strong about the museum's first maple sugar festival. Speak Chorus by Westport 5th graders and community members
1:00pm Maple Dessert Contest judging 1:30pm Local Entertainment 2:30pm Beard Growing Contest results 1:00pm - 3:00pm Horse-drawn Wagon Rides

Other events all day: Games, Music, Vendors

Mike Farrell, Northern Maple Specialist and Director from the Uihlein Forest Maple Sugar Field Station in Lake Placid
Maple Sugar Exhibit by Shirley LaForest, Essex Town Historian, and Cory Gilliland
