Go behind the scenes of one of America's best-loved musicals. This terrifically entertaining documentary follows the recent revival of A Chorus Line on Broadway, from the open casting call to the final selection of actors, plus clips from the original production.

Actor/Dancer Antonette Knoedl appeared as Maggie in a recent production of A Chorus Line. A senior at Plattsburgh State, she is the choreographer for the Willsboro Drama Club production of Damn Yankees and the Assistant Choreographer for their production of Mame.

• Oct. 22, 2009 - Adirondack History Center Museum--Tour of the Supernatural

 On the next two Saturdays, October 24 and 31st at 4:00pm, the Adirondack History Center Museum will host a Tour of the Supernatural. The program begins with cider and donuts at the museum and includes a visit to the Riverside Cemetery, a walk through a spirit strewn woods and a haunting at the historic Hand House in Elizabethtown. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Wear warm clothing, walking shoes, and bring umbrellas in case of rain. Seating is limited. One of the greatest silent comedies ever made is brought to life by Ben Model's live piano accompaniment. When Northern spies steal Buster Keaton's locomotive, he single-handedly takes on the entire Union army.

For the past 25 years Ben Model has been the silent film accompanist for The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. He has recorded numerous scores for silent film DVDs and he co-produces The Silent Clowns Film Series with film historian Bruce Lawton. Mr. Model's appearance is co-sponsored by Piano By Nature.

Margaret Bartley will conduct a slide show using old photos to show how Elizabethtown town looked over 100 years ago.

The lecture discusses the evolution of Elizabethtown by looking at the various sections of town and its architecture.

The constant tension between locals and "outsiders" -- the term island natives use for mainlanders -- is the backbone for this powerful story about a lobsterman whose hot-headed actions have devastating consequences. Islander captures the true spirit of a rural community.

Lead Actor, Screenwriter, and Producer of this movie, Thomas Hildreth grew up in Maine and spent his summers on the island of Vinalhaven, the location for the film. A member of the Classical Theater Lab in Los Angeles and a veteran of The Williamstown Theatre Festival, he has appeared in the world premiers of plays by Arthur Miller and John Guare, among many others.
