• Jun. 1, 2008 - Become a Friend of the Whallonsburg Grange Hall

The Friends of the Whallonsburg Grange Hall has been established to bring new life to the grange hall and to make it a center of activity in Essex and surrounding communities.

The Whallonsburg Civic Association has formed The Friends of the Whallonsburg Grange Hall Committee and has appointed Ted Cornell, a WCA Board member, to manage the committee.

We plan to offer square dancing, plays, movies, readings, musical performances, lectures, art workshops, craft fairs, and a host of other activities.  The Whallonsburg Grange Hall will also be available for weddings, family affairs, fitness programs, election night dinners, etc.

You can be a part of this exciting time by becoming a Friend of the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.  The first membership meeting will be a potluck supper on Saturday, June 14, in the Hall at 4pm.

Members will be able to offer their ideas, volunteer their services, and share the fun of working with neighbors and friends.  Committee opportunities will be outlined at the this meeting.  Bring a friend!

Join us as we start this center of community art and life in the Town of Essex.  Your membership contribution will support our activities and programs.  We look forward to welcoming you as a Friend of the Whallonsburg Grange Hall.

For more information, contact the WCA Treasurer, PO Box 54, Essex, NY 12936.
