• Nov. 2, 2008 - Fall (Turn Your Clocks) Back

If you haven't already, turn your clocks one hour back; otherwise, you'll be early for your appointment or, worse, you'll miss today's football games.

Do check the batteries in your smoke alarms!

I also recommend checking your dryer's exhause tube.  I replaced mine in the summer due to buildup and a friend replaced his much earlier due to such buildup that left only a nickel size opening in the tube.  Because this time of year is cooler than the inside of the tube, condensation is possible, making it easier to catch those small particles that can buildup and cause fires.
