One thing that other people forget about living in the Adirondacks is the fact that we do not have to drive to a "big city" to obtain the things we need. For example, Willsboro has an IGA grocery store, a hardware store, a cable provider, restaurants, etc. You don't have to drive 30 minutes to Plattsburgh and shop the "big stores" if you don't want to.
