• Apr. 2, 2009 - Worst Road

To The Editor:

Worst Road

Residents of Willsboro, Essex, and Everyone who has ever drove or rode on the 8 miles of New York State Route 22 between Willsboro and the intersection where Route 22 meets Route 9 and Northway Exit 33.  This road is known locally as the Willsboro Mountain Road and is the absolute worst State Road in New York that I know of.  This road has been overlooked for major improvements for over thirty years.  It is time we, as residents of Willsboro and Essex, do something about it.  Call your representatives listed below and let them know this stretch of NYS Route 22 (the Absolute worst in the State) needs immediate attention.  What about Governor Paterson's stimulus money?  Why was this road not included as the first project?

Contact your representatives now!
