• Sep. 3, 2008 - Essex County Supervisors Moving in Wrong Direction

I don't know if you're paying attention to what the Essex County supervisors have in mind for residents in the only county completely in the Adirondack Park, but I am.  While the U.S. economy has softened, they're talking about raising TAXES.  Yes, you read that correctly...RAISING TAXES.

Folks, while I understand Politi's reasoning for spending more money for his area, we need to let him and the others supporting the idea of raising taxes that Scozzafava has a better idea...STOP SPENDING.

When you stop spending tax payers' money, you don't need any more.  In fact, Essex County doesn't need any more money at this time.  The county supervisors are only bringing taxes to the table to discuss spending more of what may be brought in from this increase in TAXES.

If you're a resident of Essex County, let your county supervisor know your opinion about raising your TAXES.

Let's teach government to stop raising TAXES and learn to save money.
