Actor/Dancer Antonette Knoedl appeared as Maggie in a recent production of A Chorus Line. A senior at Plattsburgh State, she is the choreographer for the Willsboro Drama Club production of Damn Yankees and the Assistant Choreographer for their production of Mame.

 On the next two Saturdays, October 24 and 31^st at 4:00pm, the Adirondack History Center Museum will host a Tour of the Supernatural. The program begins with cider and donuts at the museum and includes a visit to the Riverside Cemetery, a walk through a spirit strewn woods and a haunting at the historic Hand House in Elizabethtown. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Wear warm clothing, walking shoes, and bring umbrellas in case of rain. Seating is limited.  It's about time.

 DOT inspection on Friday revealed the bridge is in worse shape than previously believed.  The bridge between NY and Vermont is closed for safety reasons.  No one knows when it will or if it may reopen.

One of the greatest silent comedies ever made is brought to life by Ben Model's live piano accompaniment. When Northern spies steal Buster Keaton's locomotive, he single-handedly takes on the entire Union army.

For the past 25 years Ben Model has been the silent film accompanist for The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. He has recorded numerous scores for silent film DVDs and he co-produces The Silent Clowns Film Series with film historian Bruce Lawton. Mr. Model's appearance is co-sponsored by Piano By Nature.
