I had a discussion recently with Regan Brewer, Homeowner Services Coordinator for ACORNHousing.org. We talked about REALTORS' role in helping homeowners at risk of foreclosure. We talked about helping those homeowners KEEP their homes.

I have so appreciated listening to this podcast. You're absolutely right in pointing out the fact that we need to start focusing more attention on what we can do to Solve the problem as members of the real estate community. As more services such as Acorn become available, this is a real opportunity to for real estate agents to network and assist homeowners. Foreclosures are not inevitable...

What a great idea Fran has!

Rather than jump on the foreclosure/short sale bandwagon, why not figure out how to help people OUT of this situation rather than capitalize on it?
