I was fortunate enough to snag two BPOs thru Summit Valuations. They told me that they pay $75. I completed both but have not yet received a check.

Does anyone on this site have any experience with Summit Valuations?

Thanks, Josie

FOLLOW UP ON SUMMIT VALUATIONS: It has now been over a month and Summit Valuations has not sent the $150 it offered for the 2 BPOs I did.

Josie,

My suggestion would be to contact the company and find out their pay schedule. It is not unusual for BPO companies to have a schedule where they pay out once a month based on the prior month.

Say they pay the 20th of the month for all work done the previous month by the 20th. So, if you do something the 21st of the month, the check would not be mailed until the 20th of the month following.

I also have experience with some BPO companies that take up to 3 months to pay.

My advice when you are dealing with BPOs, don't count on that money to pay any bills. Track what you are owed and if you hit the 3 month mark, call the company and find out what is going on. I haven't run across any that didn't pay, eventually.

I also completed a BPO in July 2009, to date I still have not received payment. They keep saying they are working on July payments, then they say they are working on August payments. Even Bruce the CEO? has emailed me, but to date nothing. Be leary of working for them. I will have to contact the licensing dept to complain about this scam. Most companies pay in 4-6 weeks after completion.

Did 1 also & they still have not paid. Scam site they promise to pay, they email you with updates & still nothing. Maureen or Bruce will contact you via email but nothing!

I have not gotten paid yet either but I know for a fact they pay...I did a couple in July and many in August, I know i'll be getting paid soon because I always have gotten paid in the past. They have apparently grown a ridiculous amount as a business but then they should hire more people in accounting, you know? I Still enjoy working with them as a company but I need my money! I am sure the rest of you guys do too. I think once the catch up from their busy summer, well be back on track with payments, or at least I hope so..
