Dear Friends & Neighbors;
Our real estate company has been serving the needs of Tri-City residence for over 40 years. Once again, we would like to serve our community by writing this open letter to the citizens of the Tri-Cities regarding the current Real Estate Market.
When it comes to Real Estate you can trust what we report. Surveys of both buyers and sellers consistently reveal that consumers value the guidance and advice offered by our nearly 70 full time real estate professionals. Our Customers appreciate that we are the local leader in Real Estate technology. For example, consumers can download an application from our web site that allows them to search for homes on their smart phone with GPS guided driving instructions.
Our professionals are required to display high levels of knowledge, integrity, and expertise. In fact, the substantial majority of our clients report they would use our agent again, as they met or exceeded their expectations. Coldwell Banker Tomlinson has become known as the areas trusted Real Estate advisors. No real estate company in the Tri-Cities has sold more homes in more locations then the Tomlinson Real Estate Group.
So, as your trusted professionals believe us when we tell you “Do not believe the National Media Real Estate reports.” Real Estate is like the weather, it is local. What is happening in Florida and California is irrelevant to our market. In 2008, we did see a slow decline of home sales.
Yet, it still was one of the best years on record. We are often asked why if the economy is so good in the Tri-Cities did the housing market cool down in 2008? The simple answer is that there were less qualified buyers due to stricter lending practices and those who could buy took a “wait and see” approach to their investment in a home as reports in the media hyped a housing crisis’s.
The Real Estate Market in the Tri-Cities is strong. The population continues to grow, the economy is robust, new jobs are added daily, and interests rates are at historic lows. Although, no one has a crystal ball, all indications for 2009 and 2010 is that more homes are going to be built and sold this year, with record years predicted in the upcoming years to come.
When it comes to real estate, every market and ever person’s situation is different. That is why it is so important to speak to a real estate professional you can trust who can advise you in the complex process of purchasing or selling a home.
We at Coldwell Banker can help with complementary buyer counseling sessions and market value reports for home owners.
