What happened to the promised discussion?

Wow, this is incredible and we owe you a great big "I'm Sorry" Our faces are red! In fact we didn't even know that one of our great employees had set this up for us. We have been so busy getting things ready for today's market taht talking here just passed us by. Again, a big apology!
So can we start talking about neighborhoods, communities and small towns and how to turn them into one big sphere of influence? After all nearly everyone lives in a neighborhood ,(as opposed to a subdivision) community or small town. So why do so many overlook the opportunity to be the top REALTOR of a place that has 5000, 10,000, 20,000 residents or more? Instead many dilute into the pool of the regions real estate agents. Isn't it harder to be seen when you are mixed in with 2000 REALTORS or more?
Diane and I discovered nearly 30 years ago that it was more profitable and actually more fun and rewarding to be the ones to "go to" in our community. And in today's market it is more important than ever.
Ask yourself this....."When a buyer rides around my neighborhood, community or small town which REALTOR will stand out as THE most active and neighborhood specific REALTOR?" And nearly every buyer will ride around the neighborhood they are thinking of buying in before they choose a REALTOR. So why aren't more people getting in front of buyers where they really are....in the neighborhood....instead of hoping they will find them in a google search along with every other REALTOR.
Stand out where the other REALTORS are not and where the buyers are.
Is this a good starting point? We really want to open up the discussion about neighborhood marketing and how to be the top dog in the neighborhood. And we promise that we are NOT going to push our services here because we know there are many different ways to get to the Top REALTOR staus in the neighborhood. Let's talk about them all!
