Mike has developed and instructed real estate courses since 1984 and has helped thousands of students pass their real estate exams. Currently he writes and teaches courses for the Illinois Academy of Real Estate. He is also the director of the Academy and a real estate education consultant.
Mike has been involved in some form of the real estate business since 1974 and his experience includes: new home construction, real estate sales, property management, real estate office management, real estate financing, and real estate education.
His credentials include public speaking and management consulting. He has served as content advisor for Modern Real Estate Practice in Illinois, 3rd ed., Environmental Issues,3rd ed., Ethics in Today’s Real Estate World; all published by Dearborn Financial Publishing and the Compu-Cram Exam Prep, published by Hondros College.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Illinois Association of Realtors®, the Real Estate Educator’s Association, and the Illinois Association of Real Estate Educators.
Mike is happily married to his wife Laurie and they have 5 adult children and five grandchildren. He enjoys reading, volunteering at his church and activities with his family.
