Short Sale Buyers Are Becoming Acclimated To Waiting

Aug. 12, 2009
Categorized in: Short Sale

At the beginning of the year, agent and buyer alike loved the allure of the short sale but never the wait.  Now, nearly 6 months later with thousands of short sales closing, buyers are beginning to be used to waiting and agents too.

As the top short sale team in Gwinnett County, we've noticed not only are buyers sticking with their purchases.  Investors, like ShortSaleBuyers.com are facing competition from average buyers now in an effort to lock down a great deal.

Cities like Lawrenceville have always led the pack in number of foreclosures, are now seeing their numbers drop due to short sales.  While cities like Suwanee, Dacula and Buford are seeing a huge increase in Short Sales, as homeowners try to avoid foreclosure.

Short Sales are here to stay at least for next few years.
