Mortgage Loan Modification

<p> Well, I didn&#39;t know what to do so I thought I&#39;d create a group here to tell my story. </p> <p> About 4 years ago I had to refinance my house. I was desperate and I trusted my loan officer when he told me I was getting a fixed rate. Two years later, my interest rate starting adjusting. I struggled with my adjustable rate for two more years. During that time, my interest rate and payments only went up while my savings dwindled. </p> <p> I had over a dozen loan officers try to help me. I paid out well over a thousand dollars to appraisal companies and only wasted my money. Mortgage companies promised me over and over again that they could help me but nothing ever happened. </p> <p> I was reading the Washington Post website a few months ago and found some people that had used a company called <a href="http://www.proloanmods.com">www.proloanmods.com</a> </p> <p> I gave them a try and they were great. I was at an 11.125% adjustable rate and they got me a 6.5% fixed rate. I cried when I got the final papers in the mail. I even gave their phone number to my next door neighbor who was losing her house to foreclosure. She used them and I don&#39;t know what interest rate she ended up at, but she didn&#39;t lose her house and she baked me some of her blueberry muffins to thank me! </p>
