Lewis Center - 2007 Home Sales

Jan. 1, 2008
Categorized in: Market Report

Lewis Center, Ohio 43035 is not a town, a city, a village (I think there is or was a village of Lewis Center...) The homes with a Lewis Center mailing address are in Southern Delaware County.  Some Lewis Center homes and neighborhoods are in the city of Columbus, others are in townships... The Lewis Center area in Southeastern Delaware  County is one of the fastest growing areas in the state of Ohio.  Lewis Center is suburban Central Ohio, it is a suburb of Columbus.

There were 454  single family home sales closed in Lewis Center in 2007.

2007 Lewis Center Single Family Home Sales:

List Prices ranged from $13,500 to $998,000

Closed Sales Prices ranged from $12,000 to $900,000

The average closed real estate sales price for single family homes in 2007 was $334,895.

This compares to 552 single family homes closed in 2005, with an average closed sales price of $ 327,928.

Polaris New Restaurants

Apr. 10, 2007
Categorized in: Best Food and Restaurant

restaurant sign Sneeking over from Westerville to the Polaris area Friday evening taking a little big different route than usual it was surprising to see two new restaurants....Bonefish Grill and BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse.

I think I know about every restaurant before it happens.

Noticing Bonefish Grill and the new shopping center (strip) on the corner we started talking about when the Wendy's was sitting up there at Polaris all alone... then the Max & Erma's joined them...  How things have changed at Polaris.  Of course it is all over a number of years.

A recent Business First Columbus article talks about  Five New Restaurants at Polaris

Already there...

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse
Carfagnas Kitchen (no link yet)
Bonefish Grill

offbeat Columbus (a blog) wrote about Carfagna's Kitchen I get the impression there will be a restaurant website...

According to The Columbus Dispatch Carfagna's Kitchen has been open since February 1, 2007.

Coming soon to the Polaris area according to Business First Columbus

P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc.
Noodles & Co.

All are chain restaurants except Carfagna's Kitchen.  I saw the BJ's Restaurant on Friday night but did not even bother to say, I had never noticed it before... I get tired of saying it...

The new dining is all in the casual category according to The Business First Columbus article  but the article talks about a possible "white table cloth" addition to the Polaris area.... just what the Crosswoods area needs: "Along those lines, Mitchell's Steakhouse, is considering moving its Crosswoods restaurant to near the mall."  another empty restaurant...Of course there is a Ruth Chris Steakhouse and a Hyde Park Restaurant  to compete with Mitchell's Steakhouse to compete with ... and I can't think of a Steakhouse in the Polaris area.  High end, low end... any?

I noticed driving on Campusview yesterday that Fudruckers ...although certainly not a "white table cloth" restaurant closed up shop at Crosswoods....

I do know there is a new City Barbeque going in at Polaris, south of Polaris Blvd. on the west side of Sancus Blvd.
