Fall in Ohio |
Above are profiles from ActiveRain, a real estate network. Chris Elizabeth Griffith emailed me Wednesday morning to ask if the leaves were changing in Ohio. An Ohio girl who has not been back in 20 years, Chris sells real estate in Florida. Those Florida real estate agents are aggressive.
Colorful Chris is Pink for October for Breast Cancer Awareness month.... when she changes her photo back to another after October there will be a red x there.... colorful. ActiveRain is a real estate network. ActiveRain is all about points. Was Chris email about leaves or to see if I knew she'd just passed me in points, that she is number 5 and I have dropped to number 6?
The leaves.... what do you think? I think late and not a lot of red and orange so far this year.
Leaves changing could mean time to head to Florida for some Ohio snow birds... or do most wait for the snow? Wait until after the holidays?
Leaves... Ohio leaves this is about changing colors not moving to Florida or is it?
The official site for Ohio leaf color change has a video with "Casey Munchel a fall color expert" and much more. The second upate dated October 11 says peak should be in two weeks. Or a week from now? Nah? I think "peak" is still almost two weeks off here in Central Ohio but what do I know? I underestood our lack of rain (it's raining now) and warm autumn were keeping the trees from changing this year.
This weekend could be gorgeous after the rain even if the trees are not what they are some years.
I have not been to Hocking Hills this year. We visited some of the Metro Parks earlier this fall but there really was very little change in the trees then.
