Polaris area Indian Restaurants - Map

A on the map is Cuisine of India at

B on the map is Bayleaf Indian Bistro

I have only been to Bayleaf Bistro once, Cusine of India twice.

I did not like Cuisine of India the first time but I did the second time we tried it. I understand there is a third Indian restaurant in the Polaris area.

If you click on the map link (above) it will show you the relationship of these two restaurants to Polaris Fashion Place (THE MALL).)  As I am looking at the map today, Polaris Town Center is where the huge Chase office building is.   Polaris Town Center (Kroger, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble, etc. is east of Sancus Blvd.  Or at least it was last night when I was there.

Columbus Carryout or Cuisine

Cuisine of India  The Cuisine of India website has Indian music playing.

The url (website address of) the  Polaris area restaurant at 8475 Sancus Blvd,  Columbus, OH 43240   is   http://www.cuisineofindiatogo.com/

To Go....

Although the Polaris area Indian restaurant is decorated nicely it does kind of have a carry out feel... in one of the newspaper reviews of the restaurant the journalist said the three Indian restaurants in the Polaris area are trying to take advantage of employees originally from India at the huge Chase JP Morgan (the big old former Bank One facility) office at Polaris.

Carry Out (614) 781-9610

The menu for Cuisine of India is online (as pdf )

"Let us tantalize your gourmet Indian palate with our natural and fresh preparations using an authentic style of cooking providing you the choice of low calorie and low cholesterol entrees.

Appetizers
Soups, Salads, & Sides
Vegetarian Specialities
Non-Vegetarian Delights
Tandoor (Kebab House)
Sea Food Delicacies
Homemade Desserts

Entire Menu (5 MB)"

Cuisine of India does not seem to have a separate carry out menu ( to go) online unless the full menu says something about carryout.   I opened the non Vegetarian menu I have an aversion to pdf files... and we wondered after visiting recently what the prices were like on that page... we ate vegetarian on a recent visit...

Polaris Area - Cuisine of India

We tried Cuisine of India shortly after it opened and were not impressed.  People kept recommending the Polaris area restaurant.  We tried it again Friday night and it was good.

Good not great.  The service was very good.

Music Alert - Cuisine of India   there is music that plays on the website when you open it.... there is not music at the restaurant... they had TVs on when we ate there.

We went to Cuisine of India Friday because of the vegetarian menu...  I had saag paneer because I always do...  good, spicy but not overly spicy.

There are two flat screened TVs in the small restaurant.  We watched arm wrestling. The two tables near us were watching the arm wrestling tournament... we were watching the arm wrestling tournament... kind of odd for a gourmet restaurant I thought... but we watched arm wrestling...
