Nov. 24, 2007
Categorized in: Odds and Ends
The City of Columbus is requiring permits again for some home improvements.

From the Columbus Dispatch "New building requirement" subtitled "City won't go on prowl for work permits" says the City of Columbus will not go looking for unpermitted jobs but there will be a 450 dollar fine for those caught without paperwork on home improvements that require a permit.

"$75 building permits for backyard decks, window replacements, new roofs and siding jobs" are required again because of the new state building code.
